"Russia is interested to advance trade and economic interaction with Iran. We are resolved to fulfill the commission's tasks," Sergei Kiriyenko, who is also co-chairman of the commission, said after negotiations with Iran's Economic Affairs and Finance Minister Davud Danesh-Jafari.
Davud Danesh-Jafari said Iran was also committed to honoring its obligations that were assumed at previous sessions of the Russian-Iranian commission.
He said that referred to a bilateral investment agreement, guarantees for a project to launch an Iranian satellite, engines for the Tu-204 transport airplane, and a tender for a heat and electric power plant in Tabas.
Kiriyenko urged Iran to make public the results of the Tabas tender.
"It is big major problem for us when a tender has been held but the results have not been announced. We are, therefore, unable to compare the results," he said.
