MAKHACHKALA, February 16 (RIA Novosti) - One policemen was killed and another one wounded in a battle with militants in a special operation in the North Caucasus Republic of Daghestan, the local Interior Ministry said Thursday.
According to preliminary information, all militants were killed.
Two armored vehicles and a helicopter were involved in the operation.
The ministry did not specify the number of militants, but said that two of them could be members of a gang, of which eight members were killed in a recent special operation in the Stavropol Territory.
