MOSCOW, February 8 (RIA Novosti) - Trade in the shares of Russia's leading air carrier was halted on the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange for the third time Wednesday, after the share price leaped by more than 10%.
Deals in Aeroflot shares were suspended when the price reached 50.07 rubles at 6:15 p.m. Moscow time, up more than 10.5% on the price of 45.3 rubles at the beginning of the session.
Experts say high demand was caused by a strategic investor buying up Aeroflot stock.
