MOSCOW, February 7 (RIA Novosti) - The agenda of the session of G8 finance ministers has been agreed upon, and all the ministers confirmed they would attend the February 11 meeting in Moscow, a source in the Russian Finance Ministry said Tuesday.

"The agenda includes global economic issues and the influence of oil markets on economic growth," the source said.

The ministers will also discuss issues of energy security raised by Russia, which is chairing the G8 in 2006.

"Measures must be taken to improve the quality of information on energy reserves and production in various countries, and we want all countries to adopt a uniform system to classify their energy reserves," the source said. "Besides, foreign investment and modern technologies must be brought into countries that have energy resources, and it is necessary to improve the infrastructure of the transportation of fuels."

The ministers will also discuss the battle against contagious diseases, including the improvement of monitoring systems and medical assistance.

Exposing the financial sources of terrorism and money laundering has also been placed on the agenda.

The source said trade issues, the results of a regular Doha round of multilateral talks on trade liberalization in Hong Kong in December, and the mini-ministerial of the World Trade Organization in Davos in late January would be considered at a breakfast attended by the Chinese, Indian, Brazilian and South African ministers.
