ST. PETERSBURG, January 24 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian and Belarusian presidents signed Tuesday agreements on issues of the countries' union property and on equal rights of citizens to move freely on the territory of both countries.

The former agreement regulates the property issues in the format of the Union State. The latter ensures equal rights of Russian and Belarusian citizens on free movement and the choice of residence on the territory of the two countries.

In particular, it envisions that citizens of one country may spend 30 days on the territory of the other country without registering with local authorities.

Meanwhile, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov and his Belarusian counterpart, Sergei Sidorsky, signed a treaty on cooperation in the sphere of social welfare and an intergovernmental agreement on mutual medical assistance to citizens of both countries.
