MOSCOW, January 24 (RIA Novosti) - Preparations for a meeting between finance ministers of the G8 club of rich nations will be held in Moscow on January 26-27, the Russian Finance Ministry said Tuesday.
G8 deputy finance ministers and special representatives responsible for the G8 financial agenda (Sous Sherpa) will discuss the finance ministers' meeting scheduled for February 10-11 in Moscow.
Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak will represent Russia, which holds the rotating G8 presidency for the first time in 2006.
Russian and French Finance Ministers Alexei Kudrin and Thierry Breton will discuss the agenda of the Moscow meeting of G8 finance ministers in Paris, also on January 26-27.
The 2006 G8 summit will be held in St. Petersburg in July.
