ST. PETERSBURG, January 21 (RIA Novosti) - Two children were killed in a fire in a residential building in St. Petersburg Saturday, the local emergency situations department said.
Two boys aged two and four were at home alone when their apartment caught fire, the department said.
Five children were killed in fires in St. Petersburg in January 2006, the same number that had died in fires in all of 2005, the department said.
