TEL-AVIV, January 19 (RIA Novosti) - Israel's biggest international airport was paralyzed for about half an hour Thursday, as an El Al passenger plane en route from Moscow to Tel-Aviv did not respond to air traffic control, an official said.
Authorities ordered the take-off of two fighters to accompany the plane until it successfully landed at Ben Gurion airport, which resumed activities after the plane's arrival.
