TBILISI, December 19 (RIA Novosti, Marina Kvaratskheliya)-A Gazprom delegation led by Deputy Chairman Alexander Ryazanov will make a working visit to Tbilisi Tuesday, a spokesman for the Georgian energy minister said Monday.

The delegation will meet Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli during the visit to the Georgian capital, as well as Energy Minister Nika Gilauri.

The meeting will be dedicated to a new agreement on supplies of Russian natural gas to Georgia, as Gazprom is seeking to raise the price of supplies from the current $63 per 1,000 cubic meters to $110 as part of a general revision of prices for the former Soviet Union, and will also discuss transit via Georgia to Armenia.

The two sides will also focus on the establishment of a joint venture, GruzRosgazprom, which Georgia would like to see develop regional gas distribution networks, as well as major pipelines. But the Georgian authorities, which have not always enjoyed the best of relationships with the Kremlin, are categorically against joint ownership of the latter.
