Russia's gold and currency reserves up 26% since January

MOSCOW, December 6 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's gold and foreign currency reserves totaled $168.396 billion as of December 1, 2005, an increase of 26% since the start of the year, the Central Bank of Russia reported Tuesday.

As of January 1, 2005, Russia's gold and foreign currency reserves stood at $124.541 billion.
