YEREVAN, December 2 (RIA Novosti, Gamlet Matevosyan) - Britain, which currently holds the EU chairmanship, called on the Armenian government and the Central Election Committee conduct an investigation into violations that occurred during the referendum on changes to the country's constitution.
The statement said the European Union was concerned about reports of ballot stuffing and intimidation of observers.
The statement also said the EU believed the Armenian government's draft proposals on constitutional amendments would provide for the democratic development of the country.
