MOSCOW, November 17 (RIA Novosti) - The assets of Russia's top 30 banks expanded by 4.18% in September 2005 to 6.016 trillion rubles (about $210 billion), the Central Bank said Thursday.
The banks' pre-tax profit (including their financial performance in the previous years) grew by 19.59% during the month to 165.4 billion rubles (about $5.8 billion) as of October 1, 2005.
In January-September 2005, the assets of Russia's 30 largest banks grew by 27.4% and their pre-tax profit (including the financial results of the previous years) by 27.4%.
