THE HAGUE, November 7 (RIA Novosti, Andrey Poskakukhin) - Three fans of soccer team CSKA Moscow are now in jail in the Netherlands after being arrested Thursday following a match against Dutch team Heerenveen, Russian Ambassador to the Netherlands Andrei Shibin said Monday.

After the match, which ended in a goalless draw, the Russian fans left in coaches for Utrecht railway station. While boarding an Utrecht-Amsterdam train, a fight broke out between the Russian fans and railway officers and inspectors. Three of the fans were arrested and detained.

The Russian ambassador said he has received no clear information from the Dutch authorities on the status of the detainees.

The wife of one of the detainees was told Monday by Dutch authorities that her husband is in Nieuwehein prison near Utrecht.
