MOSCOW, November 3 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian electricity monopoly Unified Energy System (UES) posted a net profit of $178 million in the third quarter of 2005, up 61.97% quarter-on-quarter, the company said in a statement Thursday.
UES attributes this increase to its involvement in other organizations, the statement said.
