TBILISI, November 1 (RIA Novosti) - The Georgian president's representative to the talks on the Georgian-Abkhaz settlement is set to meet with U.S. and UN authorities to discuss the issue, a spokesman for the Abkhaz government-in-exile said Tuesday.
Irakli Alasania, who also chairs the Tbilisi-based Abkhaz government-in-exile, is scheduled to present Georgia's proposals to officials from the U.S. Congress, the U.S. State Department, the White House, and the UN on his visit to the U.S., which will last until November 7.
