MOSCOW, October 22 (RIA Novosti) - A freight train hit a Zhiguli car at an ungated railway crossing in the Altai Territory Friday, killing four people and injuring one, the Altai Territory police department said Saturday.
The car driver violated traffic rules, driving onto the railroad bed before a passing freight train which hit it seconds later.
The driver and three passengers died on the spot, while another woman passenger was hospitalized in serious condition.
