MOSCOW, October 21 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Industry and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko said Friday that to speak about the growing state influence in the oil and gas sector would be wrong.
Referring to Russian natural gas giant Gazprom, he said, "The consolidation of assets inside this company is being accompanied by the liberalization of its share market and the removal of all restrictions on foreign investors' participation in the company."
Khristenko said there were no special quota-related targets regarding state control over resources.
