MOSCOW, October 19 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and Egypt are against unilateral measures regarding the final status of Palestine, the Russian foreign minister said Wednesday.
"We underlined the necessity of avoiding unilateral measures that could predetermine the final status of Palestine," Sergei Lavrov said after talks with his Egyptian counterpart Ahmed Ali Aboul Gheit.
"We also urged the international community to help Palestinians normalize social and economic life, and equip the Palestinian security forces to ensure peace and security and prevent extremism and terrorism," he said.
