MOSCOW, October 7 (RIA Novosti) - Russians' personal bank deposits hit 2.4 trillion rubles ($105 billion) as of July 31, a 19.6% increase on the figure for January 1, the Central Bank said Friday.
Personal ruble-denominated deposits grew 21% for the period, reaching 1.77 trillion rubles ($62 billion), whereas deposits in foreign currency grew 14% to aggregate 594.7 billion rubles ($21 billion).
Personal ruble-denominated loans grew 37% to 721.3 billion ($25 billion), and by 42% in foreign currency, coming to 132.8 billion rubles ($4.7 billion).
