LONDON - Russian President Vladimir Putin's routine visit to the United Kingdom at the invitation of British Prime Minister Tony Blair (October 4 and 5). Whilst in London, Putin will take part in a ceremony to present Russian state awards to members of the British Navy who had contributed to the operation to rescue the Russian mini submarine AS-28, trapped on the ocean floor off Russia's Pacific coast in August this year.

MOSCOW - Russian President Vladimir Putin's meeting with Tajik President Emomali Rakhmonov.

ST. PETERSBURG - A summit of the Central Asian Cooperation Organization, involving the presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan (until October 7).
