MOSCOW, September 30 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Rambler Media Limited (RMG.LN), an integrated Internet holding that owns major Russian language portal Rambler.ru, reported a 91% year-on-year growth in sales to $8 million in the first half of 2005, a company press release said Friday.
Sales in the Internet service division grew by 82% year on year from $2.9 million to $5.2 million, representing 65% of group sales for the period.
The company reported a 50% increase year on year in the number of unique Rambler.ru users to more than 13.6 million, with an additional increase to 15.3 million by the end of August.
Rambler TV's sales grew 40% year on year from $700,000 to $1 million, representing 12% of group revenue for the period.
