MOSCOW, September 23 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Agriculture Minister Alexei Gordeyev said Friday that enough grain would be harvested in Russia in 2005 to provide for the country's needs.

Gordeyev said 78 million metric tons of grain would be harvested in 2005, or the same as was in 2004 and 16% more than in 2003. Some 10 million tons would be exported.

The minister said Russian agriculture would "be able to not only feed Russia, but also to export some 8-10 million tons of grain."
