MOSCOW, September 21 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and Morocco plan to increase agricultural trade, Russian Agriculture Minister Alexei Gordeyev told journalists Wednesday.

Following a meeting with Moroccan External Commerce Minister Mustapha Mechahouri, Gordeyev said Russia was ready to increase grain deliveries to Morocco and to start importing Moroccan foodstuffs, including early potatoes and vegetables.

Gordeyev said the mechanism of special trade and economic zones that Morocco has with the United States, France, and Turkey could be used to boost deliveries. He added that a joint agricultural committee would be established to "address current issues."
