MOSCOW, September 15 (RIA Novosti) - Although UEFA Cup holder CSKA Moscow will take on Danish minnows Midtjylland behind closed doors, the city police force has decided to toughen security around the stadium, a spokesman said Thursday.

As many as 850 policemen will provide security for the UEFA Cup first round match.

The UEFA disciplinary committee punished CSKA after fans threw flares onto the pitch during a game with Italy's Parma in the 2004/2005 season.

The game starts Thursday at Dinamo Stadium in Moscow at 7.00 p.m. Moscow time (3.00 p.m. GMT). The return match will be held September 29 at Herning Stadium, Denmark.
