BERLIN, September 14 (RIA Novosti) - Top officials of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will visit NATO headquarters by the end of 2005, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said after a session of the Russia-NATO Council in Berlin.

During the session, Russia suggested that NATO and the CSTO (Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan) cooperate in the fight against the Afghan drug threat, a key issue on the agenda.

"Whether or not someone likes the CSTO and its members, we need to effectively fight drug trafficking, which is impossible without the involvement of all members of the process, including transit routes," the minister said.
