MOSCOW, September 13 (RIA Novosti) - The oil company Slavneft has increased oil production by 12% to 15.964 million metric tons in the first eight months of 2005, the company said Tuesday.
Slavneft is one of Russia's 10 largest oil companies. In 2004, Slavneft produced 22 million metric tons of oil, up 24.1% on 2003. The company's average daily oil production hit more than 60,000 tons, 24% more than in 2003.
The oil company's Sibneft and TNK-BP have owned Slavneft since late 2002.
