MOSCOW, September 11 (RIA Novosti) - Russia reached the finals of the 2005 European Men's Volleyball Championships after overcoming Spain in a semifinal match in Rome Saturday.
The Spanish team was leading 3 points in the decisive fifth set, but the Russians eventually managed to clinch victory, winning 3-2 overall. In the finals, they play the host country's squad, who knocked out Serbia & Montenegro with the same score, 3-2.
