ALMA ATA, September 10 (RIA Novosti) - Kazakh opposition leader Zharmakhan Tuyakbay intends to submit his presidential candidacy to the Kazakhstan's Central Election Committee, Tuyakbay's party "For a Just Kazakhstan" announced Saturday.
"On Monday morning, Tuyakbay will submit documents to the Central Election Committee to register his presidential candidacy," the party's headquarters said.
Previously, Tuyakbay has been Chief Prosecutor of Kazakhstan and Speaker of the Majilis (Kazakhstan's lower house of parliament).
Ualikhan Kaysarov, senator of the Karagandin region, and incumbent president Nursultan Nazarbayev, will also be candidates at the December 4 presidential elections.
