MOSCOW, September 8 (RIA Novosti) - Two Russian planes from the Emergencies Ministry have landed in the United States, bringing humanitarian aide for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, the ministry's press service said Thursday.
The cost of the cargo and its delivery is estimated at $760,000.
The cargo will be turned over to the U.S. agency on international development.
Two more planes are waiting for the ministry's go-ahead to deliver more aide, the press-service said.
