KAZAN, August 26 (RIA Novosti) - All issues involving the modernization of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) need to be thoroughly planned by the countries' political leaders, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Friday at the CIS summit in Kazan.
"We have different points of view, and in our dialogues we are looking for mutually acceptable solutions, so that the CIS can provide an efficient means of cooperation," he said.
