MOSCOW, August 17 (RIA Novosti, Andrei Malyshkin) - Georgia will sooner or later use military means to solve the Abkhazia-South Ossetia problem, vice president of the Academy of Geopolitical Issues Leonid Ivashov said Wednesday.

Ivashov said Georgian authorities were deliberately aggravating the conflict.

"Examples of this are the continual seizures of Abkhazian vessels and the concentration of troops on the border with South Ossetia," he said. All of this "is being done with Washington's approval."

After the international community sent a clear a message to Georgia that the use of force against South Ossetia is utterly unacceptable, "supporters of a military solution to the South Ossetia problem have had to find new arguments to convince Western sponsors of the impossibility of peacefully regulating the conflict."

"Accusations of South Ossetia's involvements in terrorist attacks on Georgian territory provide a very good argument in favor of this," he said.
