Belgrade, July 24 (RIA Novosti's Nikolai Paskhin) - Serb protesters have blocked a major highway between the cities of Mitrovica and Zubin Potok, in Kosovo.
The head of Mitrovica's International Press Center, Rade Negojevic, said the road blocking was a response to an overnight attack on Serb households in the village of Zupce. Early this morning, a group of unidentified gunmen, presumably Kosovar Albanians, reportedly opened fire on several Serb-owned houses and threw a grenade into the backyard of one of them.
No one was injured in the attack, Negojevic said.
