Tbilisi, July 24 (RIA Novosti, Marina Kvaratskhelia) - A breakdown at a local substation has left the city's residents without electricity and water supplies and caused major disruptions in subway services.
The accident reportedly occurred at 2:25 p.m., Moscow time, Sunday. Spokespeople for Telasi, the distribution company in charge of the failed substation, said work was in full swing to establish and deal with the causes of the power outage.
