MOSCOW, July 16 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Premier Recep Erdogan will discuss issues of fight against international terrorism and situation in the Central Asia and Transcaucasus, a source in the Kremlin administration said Saturday.

The leaders will meet on July 17-18 in Sochi (Russia's south).

"The agenda of the meeting includes issues concerning the perspectives for the Iraqi and Middle East settlement, the situation in the Central Asia and Transcaucasia and the Cyprus problem," the source said.

According to him, the both sides intend to promote the formation of favorable conditions for the further development of the multilateral and bilateral cooperation in the Black Sea region.

"In this context a special attention will be paid to the perspectives of the Russian-Turkish interaction within the framework of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation and the Black Sea naval cooperation group Blackseafor," the source said.

This will be the fourth meeting of the Russian President and the Turkish Premier within the last seven months.

"The official visit of Vladimir Putin to Ankara in December last year, the working visit of Recep Erdogan to Moscow in January and his participation in the V-E Day celebrations on May 9 in Moscow gave a serious impetus to the dynamically developing Russian-Turkish relations," the source said.

According to him, the signed by the two leaders in 2004 joint political declaration set the task to raise the current bilateral relations to a level of a complex and multidimensional partnership.

"The visit of the Turkish leader intended to promote the further practical implementation of the set task," the source added.
