MOSCOW, July 14 (RIA Novosti) - Russian Federal Space Agency head Anatoly Perminov told a government meeting Thursday that 18 spacecraft could be added to Russia's orbital group by 2008.
Perminov said the orbital group currently comprised 96 craft.
Speaking about the national space program for the period from 2006 to 2015, Perminov said, "Russia will therefore clearly retain its status as a leading space power."
