BERLIN, July 12 (RIA Novosti, Taras Lariokhin) - A Russia-Germany Energy Forum this fall will consider all aspects of energy cooperation, a source in the Russian Economic Development and Trade Ministry said Tuesday. Yelena Danilova, the head of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry's department for external relations, said: "The session primarily focused on the agenda of the 2005 energy forum in fall."

The official was speaking after a session in Germany of the Russian-German working group on strategic cooperation in economics and finance.

The Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Andrei Sharonov.

Danilova said both sides had agreed on the need to discuss the unification of electric energy systems and had discussed electricity trade and reciprocal investment in this sector.

"The forum must focus on all aspects of energy cooperation, not only natural gas, where Russia and Germany have achieved serious progress," she said.

According to the official, the session considered issues of cooperation with Volkswagen, DaimlerChrysler, and Siemens in the sphere of railroad technologies.

"The participants in the session highly assessed the results of the Hanover Trade Fair, where Russia was presented as a partner country," Danilova said.

"About a hundred agreements were concluded during the fair within the framework of the Russian-German cooperation, which thereby gave a further impetus to the development of bilateral relations," she added.

According to German statistics, trade between Russia and Germany reached 31 billion euros last year, Danilova said.

"The high dynamics continued into this year," she added, "[as] trade reached 12 billion euros in January-April."
