MOSCOW, June 30 (RIA Novosti) - Russian pole vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva tops the women's ranking list published by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
Isinbayeva, with 1451 points, left behind Russian track and field athlete Tatyana Lebedeva and Swedish Heptathlon athlete Carolina Cluft, who each have 1425 points. Russian Track and Field athlete Yelena Slesarenko came in fourth with 1418 points.
Asafa Powell from Jamaica tops the men's rankings with 1433 points. Less than a month ago, he set a world record in the 100m run with a time of 9.77 seconds.
There are no Russian athletes in the men's top ten.
