TBILISI, June 27 (RIA Novosti) - The Georgian Foreign Ministry denied on its website Monday that the person who threw a grenade at George Bush on May 10 in Tbilisi was a Bulgarian citizen, as the Rustavi-2 TV channel reported.

Posted on the website are three pictures of individuals believed to have more information on the investigation.

Earlier Gela Bezhuashvili, the head of the Georgian National Security Council, said that the grenade was not combat-ready but what he called an engineer grenade. He said however it could be reconfigured for combat purposes.

The FBI said the grenade was combat-ready and didn't explode because of a weak action spring, which failed to start the capsule detonator.
