Fradkov considers budget for three years to be guarantee of stability and efficiency of Russian macroeconomic policy


MOSCOW, June 16 (RIA Novosti) - At a governmental session on the results of the consideration of the country's budget and social and economic forecast Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov said that drawing up the budget for three years guaranteed stability and efficiency of Russia's macroeconomic policy and compliance with social obligations. "We must determine additional sources of growth and meet the parameters set on the base of this work," the premier said.  The official stressed the importance of this task, mentioning that the government pledged to bring inflation down to 4% by 2008.

Fradkov called for discipline among all ministries and departments while implementing economic programs.

"The efficiency of our work will depend on discipline at all levels of the executive branch," Fradkov underlined.
