MOSCOW, June 10 (RIA Novosti) - Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Sergei Razov new ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the People's Republic of China, the Kremlin press service said.
Razov was relieved of his post of deputy foreign minister.
Igor Rogachev, 71, who had headed the Russian diplomatic mission in China for 13 years was relieved of his post of ambassador and got a new appointment.
Putin also appointed former Russian ambassador to the United Kingdom Grigory Karasin deputy foreign minister.
