This issue was discussed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov and Vice Premier of the Chinese State Council Zeng Peiyan on Friday.
According to Zeng Peiyan, Premier of the Chinese State Council Wen Jiabao invited Fradkov to visit China in the 2nd half of 2005.
"Chinese-Russian cooperation and strategic partnership have been rapidly developing over the last year. The sides are consolidating political trust and hold regular top-level meetings," he said adding that cooperation was yielding good results.
Chinese President Hu Jintao will visit Russia within 20 days, Zeng Peiyan said.
Fradkov said, in turn, that Zeng Peiyan's visit was regarded as serious preparations for the upcoming summit.
He expressed readiness for discussing all issues on the agenda of the Russian and Chinese premiers.
