MOSCOW, June 9 (RIA Novosti, Olga Semyonova) - The multipurpose fighter Su-27SKM will stand out in the Russian exhibition at the 46th international airshow, opening at Le Bourget near Paris on June 13.

"The renowned Sukhoi family will be represented above all by the life-size copy of the multipurpose fighter of the 4+ generation, Su-27SKM," a representative of the Rosoboronexport told RIA Novosti on Thursday.

This jet is highly maneuverable, has the best flying performances in the world and can hit any aerial, ground or waterborne target by high-precision guided weapons.

"One will also have a chance to learn characteristics of the multipurpose fighter Su-30MK, fighter-bomber Su-32, attack plane Su-39 with the radar system Kopye, experimental sweep-forward Su-47, carrier-borne fighter Su-33," the interviewee said.

He also spoke of the trainer MiG-AT of the MiG export series and the front-line fighter MiG-29, as well as a life-size model of the specialized combat simulator STBP-29.

"Some foreign air forces may also like the fighter-interceptor MiG-31E," Rosoboronexport believes.

"A case apart in the Russian exhibition will be the Yak-130. It is a dual-purpose aircraft to be used both as a trainer and a light attack plane," the interviewee said.

The Mi and Ka helicopters hold a considerable niche in the Russian exhibition.

"The Russian helicopter and aviation equipment manufacturers, repair factories will provide detailed information on the entire type and size range of helicopters, on-board and ground equipment, armaments, maintenance of helicopters and trainers," the Rosoboronexport said.

He cited combat round-the-clock helicopters - Mi-35, Mi-35M, Mi-35P, Mi-28NE, Ka-50, Ka-52-2; troop carriers Mi-17-1V, Mi-171Sh, Mi-26; special-purpose Mi-19 and Ka-31; ship-based Ka-29, Ka-28, Ka-27PS; and the multi-purpose Ka-60.

The interviewee said that cooperation between Russian aircraft-makers and their European partners (SAGEM, THALES, MBDA, SNEGMA, Bae Systems) has stepped up in recent time and "with some of them Rosoboronexport is considering joint projects in updating aircraft now in service with the air forces in Central and Eastern Europe."

"Since some European countries would like to equip their armed forces with heavy transport helicopters, the Russian side does not exclude its participation in tailor designing such an aircraft," the Rosoboronexport representative said.
