Russia to be widely represented at Le Bourget aerospace show

MOSCOW, June 7 (RIA Novosti) - Roskosmos (Federal space agency) will be widely represented at the aerospace show in Le Bourget, with leading enterprises of the Russian space industry participating in the event.

Official spokesman for Roskosmos Vyacheslav Davidenko reported that a delegation of the Federal Space Agency was leaving for France on June 12 to take part in the salon.

"A delegation of the Federal Space Agency headed by Anatoly Perminov will take part in the opening ceremony at the aerospace show Le Bourget-2005. French President Jacques Chirac will be present at the ceremony," Davidenko said.

According to the spokesman, every day at the show the leadership of Roskosmos will have numerous meetings and talks.

"In particular, they will meet bilaterally with the leaders of space departments of France, the U.S., Canada, Japan, Brazil, Italy, and on June 16 the heads of all the space agencies represented at the show will gather at the round table of the 7th European inter-parliamentary space conference," Davidenko said.

Head of Roskosmos Anatoly Perminov will also hold a number of meetings with heads of the leading enterprises of France, Germany, the U.S., the UK and Italy. On June 17 the official will finish his work at the show and return to Moscow.
