MOSCOW, May 30 (RIA Novosti) - A unique exhibition of European engravings from the collection of a Ural museum will open in Moscow on June 1, the web site www.museum.ru said.

The exhibition "From Durer to Goya. Three Centuries of European Engravings" features the results of 30-year restoration, studies and expositions of old engravings of the Irbit state fine arts museum (the Sverdlovsk region, the Ural federal district). This is the only museum in Russia which specializes in engravings and drawings.

About 180 engravings of the German, Italian, Flemish, Dutch, French, English and Spanish national schools will be presented at the art gallery of Zurab Tsereteli, a well-known Russian sculptor.

Among them are works by Albrecht Durer (1471-1528), Rembrandt (1606-1669), Giovanni Battista Tiepolo (1696-1770), Jacques Callot (1592-1635), Anthony Van Dyck (1599-1741), Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778), Francois Boucher (1703-1770), Francisco de Goya (1746-1828), as well as the grandiose print "The Mocking of Christ" by Francois Langot, which is the world's only copy.

The exhibition was a success in the Russian cities of Perm (the Urals), Togliatti (the Volga area), and Ryazan (Central Russia).
