MOSCOW, May 26 (RIA Novosti) - Anatoly Chubais, CEO of Unified Energy Systems (UES) promises to find time to visit the Prosecutor's Office. Chubais was summoned to the Moscow Prosecutor's Office for 4 p.m. in connection with yesterday's blackout in Moscow. However, that was the time when his press-conference started.

"We will certainly find time to talk to the prosecutors," Chubais said. UES spokesman told RIA Novosti that Chubais will "certainly visit the Prosecutor's Office" today.

Chubais promised to pay legitimate compensation to institutions and organizations that suffered from the blackout.

"The Chagino automatic substation suffered certain damage as well (according to experts, it was the fire at this substation at the Southeast of Moscow - the oldest one in the city - that caused the blackout on May 25). We suffered certain losses, and some other organizations suffered from the blackout. All this should be sorted out. Regarding the substation itself, we have no doubts - it was insured," Chubais said.

"As far as other enterprises and organizations are concerned, relevant institutions will estimate compensations," he added.

Chubais was summoned to the Moscow Prosecutor's office for questioning in connection with the criminal investigation of the blackout in the Moscow region.

His press-conference, held at the Marriott Tverskaya Hotel after the 27-th session of the CIS Electricity Industry Council, was devoted to the results of the meeting.
