TBILISI, May 15 (RIA Novosti's Marina Kvaratskheliya) - The Georgian foreign ministry is perusing new Russian proposals on the pullout of its military bases, Georgia's state minister Georgy Baramidze told RIA Novosti before leaving for Brussels.

"There is a possibility for further talks. Two days ago, Russia submitted new proposals which the Georgian foreign ministry is now perusing," Baramidze said.

He also underscored that "the March 10 resolution of the Georgian parliament is an important document that the government will definitely take into account."

"However, one should not raise much ado about this document; negotiations are still in progress," he told reporters.

On March 10, the Georgian parliament passed a resolution in which demanded that the pullout schedule be adjusted until May 15. Otherwise, the resolution stated, the Georgian government should take certain measures against the Russian military force currently stationed at two bases in the towns of Batumi and Akhalkalaki.

Baramidze who is in charge of Euro-Atlantic integration in the Georgian government described recent Russian proposals for the pullout as much better than two years ago.
