MOSCOW, May 12 (RIA Novosti) - Recently, Sergei Abeltsev, a deputy of LDPR, a State Duma party famous for its scandalous behavior and radical ideas, has come up with the idea either to organize an escape of former Nuclear Power Minister Yevgeny Adamov from a Swiss prison or to eliminate him lest he should betray state secrets.

The deputy proposed to appeal to the Prosecutor's office or to any competent bodies to take measures to release the former minister.

"Otherwise special forces should eliminate the 'nuclear businessmen,'" he added.

He said he believed that Adamov could betray Russia's state secrets as soon as Switzerland turns him over to US authorities.

"One should seriously study Adamov's case," Alexei Mitrofanov, another deputy of the same party, said. "It may be an escape or anything else," he added.

State Duma speaker Boris Gryzlov has ordered the initiators of this proposal to appeal to the Prosecutor General's office to take measures to return Adamov.
