MOSCOW, May 12 (RIA Novosti) - Official spokesman for the Russian government Denis Molchanov calls "not serious" the media publications on the alleged reorganization of the government.

"The press service of the government does not in principle comment on newspaper articles starting with the words 'as is rumored," Molchanov told RIA Novosti.

In the RIA Novosti interview on Thursday, Education and Science Minister Andrei Fursenko said that he finds quite justified the current make-up of the Russian cabinet of ministers.

"The system is efficient within the framework of our ministry," Fursenko said commenting on today's publication in the Nezavisimaya Gazeta on a possible recast of the cabinet.

"I think work can go under the present system. We've got used to it. I'm all in for it (the preservation of the present structure)," Fursenko said.

He also knows nothing of a possible reshuffle in the cabinet.

"I know nothing about it. I only hear about it from journalists," Fursenko added.

Russian Mineral Resources Minister Yuri Trutnev found it hard to comment on the possible reshuffle publications in the media.

"Since you ask me not as a citizen but an official, it's hard for me to talk of these publications," Trutnev told RIA Novosti.
