TEHRAN, May 10 (RIA Novosti, Nikolai Terekhov) - Iran has got the natural right to launch preliminary work at the nuclear facility in Isfahan, Iranian Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi said.

"The resumption of the operation of the Isfahan nuclear center, where preliminary work on processing uranium-rich ore is under way, is a natural right of this country," Kharrazi said during his meeting with Yoriko Kawaguchi, advisor to the Japanese prime minister, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry told RIA Novosti on Tuesday.

"A logical way to resolve the Iranian nuclear program problem is via continuing the talks with the European troika (the UK, France and Germany) on the basis of mutual trust and respect for the rights of the Islamic Republic [of Iran]," Kharrazi said.

According to him, the people of Iran "expect the Islamic Republic's rightful requirements in the peaceful nuclear technology field to be taken into account and ensured and Europeans to meet the commitments made in Paris last year".

"Tehran has decided to continue the dialog with the European Union on the Iranian nuclear programs and is preparing preliminary documents for the Iranian parliament to ratify the additional protocol to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, signed by the government in late 2003," the Iranian foreign minister stressed.

The last round of the talks between Iran and the European troika in London on April 29 proved to be futile.
