#IT WILL TAKE TWO BRITISH BIKERS A MONTH TO GO FROM MOSCOW TO VLADIVOSTOK#
LONDON, April 21 (RIA Novosti, Alexander Smotrov) - Two British bikers will set off for a charity ride down the roads of Russia.
On Thursday RIA Novosti's office in London hosted a presentation of a 52 year old motorcyclist, Nick Lang, who arranged the London-Moscow-Vladivostok motor ride.
He will be accompanied by his friend John Ramond, his Russian business partner (Nick owns a tourist company in Moscow) Dmitry Paltsev and another Russian, Alexei Hearanov.
Mr. Lang reported that the first stage of the motor ride has already been finished, with the participants reaching Moscow last week, leaving their motorcycles there and returning for a while to London.
Next week they will arrive in the capital of Russia, which they intend to leave on May 1. The travelers plan to cover some 300 miles a day, and it will take them about a month to finish the ride.
Asked whether he had to learn Russian, Nick Lang said that he speaks Russian a little and has repeatedly visited Russian towns. "My vocabulary will be sufficient to get on with the militia," the Englishman joked.
Nick Lang and John Ramond have saved up 10,000 pounds for the charity ride.
